School of Public Health, University of Ghana is focusing attention on Buruli ulcer research. To this effect, 3 Ghanaian PhD student and two German students are undertaking various research in Buruli ulcer.
Antibiotics compliance, epidemiology, laboratory confirmation and social aspects of the disease would be studied by the students, Study sites are Akwapim North and Suhum Kraboa Coaltar districts.
