This outreach is Historic because it is the first BU Surgery to be done at the Suhum Government Hospital sponsored by Health Foundation - Ghana. The team was led by Dr. Fabian Mork, a Consultant Plastic Surgeon from the Reconstructive Plastic Surgery &  Burns Centre. He was assisted by Dr. Akpalu who is the Resident Medical Officer at the Hospital.

The programe saw only one (1) patient been operated on and this was due to certain conditions that prevented other patients receiving the surgical treatment. Several of such operations will follow and thanks to Health Foundation Ghana for making a dream come true.
